I don't draw Laban often enough, damnit.
I really loved this as a sketch...adored it in inks...am rather ambivalent about the colouring (omnom tainfin but could the hair GET any flatter and less shaded?!) and ultimately I decided I hate one single aspect: every lock of hair is totally in defiance of gravity or being blown by the wind...except the tailtip. THAT ONE CHUNK OF HAIR is sorta ruining the effect for me.
Also I have no idea WTF Laban is doing, actually. Making a little spark of magic is kinda NOT his style...then again he doesn't have a levitation spell either so...some days, I just don't know what the hell I'm drawing. XD
Still. I like it more than enough to share. :3

I, for one, think this is quite beautiful, despite the tail-tip not moving with the wind.. I also quite like the colors you chose to use! I think they really fit, and give a lovely mood to the illustration, over all. I also TOTALLY appreciate all the time you must have spent working the inking details into the hair.. and their sure is a lot of it!

Yep!!! I used to adore Psycrowe's Draekard RP...was one'a the first RPGs I ever participated in. Laban...well, he was one'a my first RP characters, and even though I haven't actually played him since the FDRP kinda shut down, I still adore him. :D
