I was just talking about camels tonight with my partner, Very intresting things they are, Makes this a real great pendant... I take it bactrian's have thicker fur on there necks or is that a bull and the dromedary female.. Looks intresting by any means.

Bactrians originally come from a colder climate, so yes they have a thicker coat all over. (Like giant sketchy teddy bears XD )
Droms are the ones you see in Africa and the middle eastern deserts. In the really warm climate. They can grow a winter coat, but only if they've been acclimatized to the weather slowly. ^_^ (Or are 6th or 7th generation Canadian. XD)
Each breed of camel has their own males and females, though Droms and Bactrians can cross breed, creating something called an F4 or F5 camel... though that starts to get complicated X3

And the one place one humped camels live freely in the wild now is, My back yard in Australia... Thanks for the info, I do like camels dispite most commonly don't or don't admite they do. so I'm happy to hear what productive stuff people have to say. =3

Wow! I'd love to see these guys running wild and free. ^_^ I worked with them all summer they're so much fun. Love them to death.
