So happy with this.
Like alot of the things I work on for myself really.
I spend alot of time on my things because I really like looking at my own art.
Sometimes, it's hard to beleive I did it. I worked hours on that.
It's like drawing fan art for myself or something.
I try and illustrate what I want to see, how they should be.
Art just is.
Anywhore, about the picture.
It's Grau, looking a little... uhh not so focused. BY ACCIDENT.
Mainly because I drew his head first and the scene just followed.
And when I went to ink I didn't bother to fix the focus of his eyes. He's like, staring past the door now. Oh well.
Eric and Grau's shirt is my favorite though.
I had to pose to get the grabbing motion to look /mostly/ right. It's hard to draw yourself doing things D:
Monster in the window is cheesy. I don't care. Ever see a promo for a comic or something similar?
YEAH. this is kind of like that. Plus I love the tilt of it all.

Downtown Underground will happen.
It has to. And I have friends helping and that always rules.

there are alot of great things going on in this picture that all seem to come togeter to realy create a powerfull atmosphere. the door is awesome and its emphisis helps draw your eye over to the subtle creature behind it. you did a good job of creating personality and emotion in your charicters. keep up the good work.
I LOVE THE MONSTER IN THE WINDOW. <3 <3 <3 And the rust around the window. And around the doorknob, and just... everything.
I pee myself in excitement and anticipation of seeing Downtown Underground and hearing the story. SERIOUSLY. I would give up eating for a month to buy it if you had it done. X3

Kind of reminds me of the 1960's, 70's type of monster magazines that my older cousins used to like. I used to find them around my aunt's house and they had a lot of artwork like this. The characters in the foreground with a not so easily seen threatening creature nearby, you caught the look quite well methinks.
