It's finally done! If you follow me on any of my social media sites you've seen plenty of teasers for this piece so far XD
Really, really proud of how this came out, and how much work I put into it. For once there wasn't a point where I felt like giving up, despite it also being the longest I've spent on a piece. Ever.
~40 - 50 hours over the course of six days. Acrylic paint and liquid leaf.
The original will be for sale in the Anthrocon 2015 art show!

Metal leaf is really, really thin sheets of metal (usually gold or silver). You glue it down on sections of art to make it shiny.
