This was not only for mutant spiders in general, but also for a specific character in an adventure setting, a giant spider living in a log cabin as a hermit. She runs something of a trading post, so I guess she's who you'd go to for gear, right?
And it's not enough to imply "giant spider". This, and an upcoming scorpion, I played with to illustrate intelligence. .... sorta. Okay, so she's no great speller.
