Ok, so between commissions i have been working on the other species i mentioned in my "sea Hare' artwork. These are called 'Snakelings' (thanks to my Grandad for the name, he thought my hatchling snakes were called 'Snakelings' and the name has just stuck!) These were an original concept for my Uni work around May-June last year. The project was to go into the lab and find some taxidermy animals, and then morph them together to create something cool and unique. I didnt get to the lab until after everyone else, so all i really found was a mangey rabbit and a really shit looking Red Bellie Black Snake. This actually made me laugh because these two animals are so opposite and one eats the other and so was born the 'Snakeling'! My Professor loved the idea and had a good laugh about it with me, and so i developed them more for my first semester markings, and then used them again in semester 2. you can find a page from my Uni sketchbook here,

Ok so i hope there's enough info on the sketch concept to get people interested, and if so ill start doing customs after/between commissions :D
