This is a lum'ar'ine, a moon-cat from my upcoming series, Twisted Liminality. This is an established hybrid within my fantasy world - a small apax predator that lives among the trees in small groups of three females and one male.
Two peculiar evolutionary aspects of these creatures is the fact that they've developed a sensitivity to the light. Their eyes (a silvery, reflective colour) are only able to cope with the light from the moon. Within their mouths, they contain a poison sack, lodged just behind their front teeth. The potent poison inside causes pain, muscle weakness, tremors and eventually, death. The only known cure for the poison is nettles, crushed with saliva and fed to the afflicted.
