And here she is in all her glory! My fursona, Root the Griffon, who has not had a ref sheet until now.

This character, though rather new to me, is already very close to my heart. My previous fursona (a hyena, who will soon grace this page with her own ref sheet) no longer suited me, and I searched for a new species to take her place. I've always been very partial to birds of prey - especially hawks and falcons - and I think of the hawk as my spirit animal. As such, Root technically is supposed to be a Red Shouldered Hawk. However, because I wanted to incorporate my intense love for fantasy, I decided to make her a griffon, and styled her feline aspects after the North American Cougar. (Why the cougar? Because it matched her color palette and I love the mountains. That's it. So profound.)
She will get a full reference page in the future, but for now, I wanted her to at least have a bust-level reference sheet. The full thing is already in the works, and should be out sometime soon.
