oh my goodness I'm really proud of this one. It started as a commission for angrylittlephoenix (an excellent person over on DA), but ended up being a great color/background study for me as well!! : D
I hope that this piece will be the stepping stone for me to try my ambitious things, like unusual backgrounds and lighting techniques. I really REALLY need to push myself more with style and color, especially since I want to make an effort to get into an animation school of some sort. The more portfolio-ish stuff, the better!

wow dude, thank you <:} I was a bit worried.. cause I LOVED The thumbnail I did of the background here, but as I refined it I started liking it less and less... but I think I need to give myself credit for trying something so different for me. I'm glad that you think it looks good!
