Heh. Well:
Revolver: Has a circular revolving cylinder which holds the cartridges.
Double action: Can be fired by pressing the trigger in order to cock the hammer (the bit in the back which comes down rapidly to set off the cartridge). This is as opposed to single action, which means the hammer must be cocked for the shot.
Short barreled, large frame: Fairly self-explanatory. A small frame revolver would be like what Joe Friday on "Dragnet" carried. A large frame revolver would be like the one that Dirty Harry carried.
.357: Caliber designation, in this case .357 inches in diameter. The .38 Special, incidentally, is also actually .357 inches in diameter, which is roughly 9 millimeters.
