Well, this is a story I won from a story raffle by Fly1ngShurtugal
& it's about how me & Vito Talford
met! It's was a very tiny scary at first cause I KNOW how mega macros are: destorying city after city, creating total destruction, but Vito is a nice macro. Even when he just destory something, he always have the power to revive stuff, which makes me relieved. I'm just glad I met a great macro friend like him! ^^
Anyways, here's the story. Hope you like it. :D
The time was 01:00 P.M.. Will - the red and white fox - was heading home from school. He frantically pressed himself through the large crowds that covered the streets of his home city like a vast, multi-colored blanket of dots. He was hoping he would find a burger joint or some other place to snack soon. His stomach was grumbling ever since ten minutes before his class was dismissed. Besides that, he always had a penchant of arriving home ahead of time so he could spend more time chatting with his friends over Skype. Being quite hungry at the moment, he decided to disregard his own policy and averted from his route - into another busy street to his right - seeking a place where he could sate his hunger.
-
After walking down his new path for about five minutes, Will finally felt relief flowing through his nerves as he entered a fast food restaurant named “The Great Banjo”. Despite the busy streets outside, the restaurant itself wasn’t as populated. After quickly looking around him, Will walked up to the queue, waiting in line.
“Good day, sir!”, the cashier greeted to Will. “May I take your order?”
Will didn’t want to eat too much; he just wanted a quick bite before getting along and heading back home. “Well… errr… I think I’ll just take one of the medium fries,” he replied timidly as he drew a $5 bill from his school bag. Before the person behind the counter could tell him the price, they calmly accepted the money from Will, pressed a few keys on the cash register and opened it up to grab Will’s change money.
After the transaction was completed, the cashier passed Will’s order to the kitchen. Within a few seconds, everything was done and he handed the firefox his bag of fries.
“Have a good day!”, he said, but Will was already on his way home.
-
With bundles of fries behind his teeth, Will finally headed back in the direction of his home. He walked a bit off to the sidewalk this time to avoid bashing into oncoming people, soon enough arriving at the street at which he first chose to look for a snack. Will began looking around and recognized the place as his original route, before something happened that spontaneously interrupted everyone’s business.
A loud, jarring rumble rocked the ground underneath the city. People all around were startled and started to look around them. Shortly thereafter. another rumble sounded; this one being significantly louder than the first one. Panic started to ensue amongst the crowds, as the earth-shaking booms grew louder and closer. The atmosphere above the city darkened, and when Will finally looked up, he saw an enormous paw - blocking out the sun, slowly lowering and about to stomp down on the city.
-
People were scattering themselves all over the place, trying to find a place to keep them safe. Will himself wasn’t as afraid just yet, since he has met macros that were much gentler that the one about to crush the place with his gigantic paw. The abundant crowds had fled the scene, leaving Will the only one around - just standing there in the middle of the empty city waiting for his doom. Having both his eyes closed and his handpaws covering his face, he laid down, curling himself up to try and mitigate the feeling of what was somewhat of a spontaneous horror experience for him. But then, a powerful shock went through his body when he heard the macro speak to him.
-
“Don’t be afraid, little fox,” the unknown giant said, his voice loudly cascading down to Will as he slowly moved his paw to the side, crushing several buildings next to him. While Will was left unharmed, he was still looking up at the macro and his giant footpaw in awe and bewilderment.
“How did he know I was a fox when I’m only a teeny tiny dot to him? And why isn’t he just going ahead with the stomping?”, Will wondered. But suddenly - also to his surprise, he was lifted into the air. In front of him, he saw the macro having picked him up and carefully lifting him up even higher.
“This isn’t going to end well,” Will thought by himself as he closed his eyes again. The air around him gradually became colder as well due to the high altitude at which the macro stood. When Will felt himself falling on a soft surface, he heard the macro talk to him again.
“Have no fear, little one,” Will heard him say, his voice much, much louder than before. Will didn’t want to trust the situation, but opened his eyes anyway. Before him, he saw the two eyes of the macro, staring down onto the little fox - which he had settled upon his snout.
“Vito Talford, much pleased to meet you.”
-
Vito was a large wolf-dog hybrid; brown haired and with dark face, he stood at roughly two-hundred miles tall. His snout alone, on which Will was resting, was about the size of the city of Vancouver.
“Well, my name is Will,” Will said to Vito. “Feel free to call me just that.”
“The view from up here is great, isn’t it?”, Vito said back to Will as part of his introduction, as he continued to stomp through the city, crushing everything in the path of his footpaws. Will was just peeking over the edge of Vito’s snout. “Yes, it sure is,” he said excitedly. “But I won’t fall off, won’t I?”
“Of course not,” Vito said. “I have heightened senses, hence why I could identify you as a fox when I picked you up. Just scream and I’ll catch you.”
Will - in spite of still being unsure about the whole ordeal - continued to enjoy the glorious view from Vito’s perspective. He felt incredibly heart-warmed by having the person who was about to smoosh him underfoot as his personal safe guardian.
“But, don’t you feel guilty about crushing and rampaging the city below?”, Will asked.
“Of course not!”, Vito said satisfyingly “Ever heard of the saying: ”Changes are revertible”?”
At that point, Will looked behind him, and to his surprise, he saw the city which Vita had just stomped through restored to its former state. With that, Will became more and more amazed by what his new macro companion was capable of.
“Whoa,” Will said relieved. But suddenly, he had come up with a radical idea for Vito...
-
“Do you think you can grow even bigger than this?”, Will asked, filled with curiosity.
“So you’re the action-seeking type, huh?”, Vito replied back. “Just hold on really tightly.”
With that, Vito began to grow even more huge. Within a second, he was already twice the size as he was before. The tiny fox in his snout latched onto the hairs on the vast wasteland of his snout as firmly as he could. Everything around him changed as frantically as if it were a timewarp.
“Is this OK?”, Vito said to Will, who was now as tiny as a dust particle to him.
Vito’s snout was now the size of the continent of Africa, but luckily Will was able to hold on to the edge of his snout the whole time. Will had an exciting ride behind his back, but was in for a bigger dose from Vito. As he leaned over the edge, he saw Vito holding the planet Earth in both his paws - like a volleyball about to be passed over.
“D-don’t you think this is going a bit too far?”, Will said worried. “I know you pretty much can do everything I might expect from you, but…”.
“Oh, but this is far from over!”, Vito said with a giggle in his voice. “I’m not causing any harm; when I revert everything back to what it once was, it will be just like having awoken from a dream for the people on this planet right here,” he said as he mildly tapped the globe with his left index finger.
Vito continued to toy around with the planet in his hands, before he shoved it underneath his rear and started to sit on it.
“Mmmmhm, such a nice seat,” Vito mumbled, before he made the choice to grow even bigger than how he currently was. Due to the fact that Vito was already the size of a small universe, Will didn’t notice anything about him growing to an even larger size and was just calmly resting on his nose.
“I wonder how he will think about this…”, Vito thought.
-
Will didn’t notice how Vito was becoming more and more colossal, he most certainly felt change happening around him. He hadn’t been snapped out of his rest on Vito’s snout yet, since he had been so enthralled from the entire ride he had been through.
“Ta-dum!”, Will heard Vito say to him. “Just look at this, Will!”
When Will looked down, he saw how Vito was holding the Earth in between his fingers, with it being about as small as a golf ball to him. Following this, Vito placed the planet between his feetpaws and pressed them together. Vito was really enjoying his time to once again have a nice rampage, but Will had to really get used to everything that Vito was capable of. While the exameter-macro wolfdog was squishing the world between his paws, he was - at the same time - discussing with Will about whether or not to change all the events back.
-
“Shall we put a stop to this all then?”, Vito asked Will.
“Sure thing,” Will replied. “This must all have been very tiring and power-consuming.”
With a eye-blinding flash akin to a supernova, Vito was once again standing at his majestic two-hundred mile height. Vito observed the restored-again landscape around him, as well as the city that he had stomped through the first time he met Will. Before he could recollect his thoughts, he heard a long-held scream coming from below.
“Gotcha, Will,” Vito said as he caught the firefox, who had fallen off of him when he shrank back to his regular giant size. “Told you I would keep you safe at all times.”
“Thanks, Vito,” Will said calmly in response, as Vito happily smiled back at him and placed him back onto his snout.
“Now, what would you think if we’d do some more stomping together, Vito?”, Will asked Vito while putting on his brightest smile.
“Well, since you enjoyed it so much…”, Vito said as he flattened Will’s home city again.
“You’re one of the silliest macros I’ve ever met,” Will happily retorted as a trail of massive pawprints marked the bond between the two.
“I hope he didn’t perceive that in a negative way…”
