So, I've been playing The Long Dark a lot.
If you don't know what it is, it's a survival simulator game with an upcoming episodic story campaign featuring voice actors such as Jennifer Hale (Femshep anyone?), David Hayter (for the MGS fans) and more. Also there's wolves.
But yeah, I personally love the game, but looking at the title, and knowing there were wolves and other supposed wildlife in the game, I couldn't help but make an obvious connection.
And so, the idea for these 'mock' promotional posters were born!
I only did basic editions (plus a personal favourite, otters for the win. <3) up until now but who knows, maybe there'll be others, or maybe I'll turn them into little personalized mini-commissions or something. Dunno. It just seemed like a fun idea.
Everyone knows a warm stomach is your best bet to surviving.

Well, was only released september last year and it's still in early access, so thought I'd use a fun idea and also raise a bit more awareness for the game at the same time. ^^
Yeah co-op would be amazing but sadly that won't be a thing.

Also, I'm sure that Zeke is feeling very proud of himself for having his silhouette feature on a poster...but I'm sure that a wuskle can help with that promptly enough! ;3
Teasing aside, this is a fun game and if you ever catch it on offer on Steam, it's definitely worth a try! Looking forward to the story mode!

I play on Explorer difficulty. Not because I want the game to be easy, but just because I love exploring and I hate the idea of wolves attacking me on sight because it's simply incorrect behaviour. They should allow you to custom adjust options such as wildlife aggression, temperature drop rate, wind speed etc,... but hey ho... I love that game, it makes me feel calm and soothed~
