Owls eat mice. It's simply a fact of nature. So when two gluttonous owl brothers stumble upon a gathering of small rodents, there's only one way it ever ends. It seems one brave little mouse is begging or bargaining for some of the rodents who have already been gobbled up. While Mordecai swallows up a close friend, Montague explains to the sweet little rodent his chances of saving any of his friends...or himself.
None, to be frank.
By tomorrow, he and everyone he knew will be a bit more softness on two great feathered guts, along with a dull aftertaste and a fading memory. Nature is cruel and unforgiving, but the little darling will most certainly be put to good use.
Montague (owl on the right) is mine.
