A part of the De'Ja Vu Challenge I've held in 2013 where I draw stuff bringing up nostalgia and write a big-ass story about it. This was also an entry for the Summertime Jam event which was held by MDFive that year. It was originally going to involve many of other people's OCs, as I have done in www.deviantart.com/deviation/3… , but the project and the challenge were both unfortunately aborted due to personal issues that took place at the time.

This is my take on the trend that occurred in the 1980s wbere people would park their cars in a huge lot and watch movies on a large brick wall, typically with a projector. From what I've heard, there is actially history of such activities in the city where my college is located. Jellybean RPG's setting is based on this era, so I couldn't resist drawing at least once of something inspired by it :la:

On the left is an old, slightly damaged convertible Jellybean found in his garage which was later discovered to be under custody by Aristona. Having curiosities of its functions, he takes it for a test drive to the theatre lot, taking Megan with him. Adjacent to the convertible is Aridontou and his buddies from college riding in his prized Deorum X, a 12-cylinder muscle sedan he managed to rebuild uning the skills he picked up in class. Unfortunately, despite his success, he never figured out how to install an air conditioning system in the car. The model itself was made just before air conditioning technology was invented, you see, hence why Olivia is sitting on the roof.

In the scene above is Spector Aulomar attending a Halloween party dressed as a typical zombie. Right before the party, he stumbled upon Samantha, who offered a dance with him. He wanted to accept her offer, but seemed to be too busy observing the refreshments table behind her.

(Usually, I avoid using thick lines, but you gotta make do with what tools you have :shrug: )
