Furnal Equinox 2015 - Day 1
A sudden turn of events at the con! It was a real honor to have Marvel Comics' very own Wade Wilson - the one and only Deadpool himself (as played by
) - as the con's super-secret special guest!
I don't need to tell you, of course, that Pika and I were thrilled - nay, ecstatic - to have encountered the legendary "Merc with a Mouth." But what made the encounter more epic was just as legendary: seeing as how we were determined individuals with a lot of intense energy, sharp wits, and undying urges to break the fourth wall, Deadpool made us honorary mercs to fight alongside him whenever the need arises. And it only cost us our supply of Hot Pockets and a jar full of Monopoly money.
Naturally, as honorary members of Deadpool's new furry clan, Pika and I got to test out some new equipment. Now I'm a ninja and have no need for what's considered barbaric and crude tools of destruction like these, but... when we're with Deadpool, it's like everything's all right. Also it's common sense that if Deadpool gives you something, you take it!
Stay awesome, Deadpool! Hope to have some badass adventures in the future!
