Now I'm certainly not the best writer in the world, but I thought I had to throw something together to sum up the awesome time I had at Furnal Equinox this year. Thanks again to all the awesome friends I got to hang out with over the con, it really wouldn't have been half as fun without you guys!

I just wanted to say... That was freaking awesome! I love the photography stuff you do, and hey, I really enjoyed the blog/post thing and it's weird seeing everything in the flesh like Ringo's badges and stuff.
I also wanted to ask... You probably get asked this a lot... But what's the camera that you use Auburn? And do you use any special lenses? I suppose you use a wide angle for some of the stuff in the tea-social, but anything else?

Well thanks a whole lot! I really appreciate the comments.
The camera is a rather old at this point Nikon D3000, which can cause me some problems but since I've been using it for so long I know how to work around most of it's limitations. The wide shots were taken with a Sigma 10-20mm ultrawide, and everything else was done using my trusty 35mm f1.8 prime. A few of the shots with Ringo in them also had my speedlight used as well ^^

Oh, sweet! Yeah, the D3000 like you said is an old camera with it's limitations but you definitely know how to work that thing! I thought it looked like a 28mm or 35mm, around that 50mm with the crop factor involved with APS-C stuff. But very interested at the Sigma, definitely love their stuff they put out. The 10-20mm looks amazing for that great wide-angle look but I'm trying to look at the 17-50mm f2.8 for my 60D right now myself, but $500 for a lens, eep!
Thanks for the reply dude, much appreciated and again, really cool to see some of your stuff that I saw on twitter dashed about again and in a really nice post. I'm gonna shut up now... :)
