Well, I'm working on 2 main comissions for local friends, when one of my friends asks how to do the mouth on a goomba.

I love goombas, so out comes the sketchbook and a little goomba was drawn. He was a cute little guy.

My friend mentioned that he would look good in a top hat, then retracted it and said I should make him a wizard and give him a monocle. I ended up doing both, creating the great Sir Goombington-Smithe the Third (to be posted next).

The great english goomba was such a success that another friend in the room asked if I could do a Joker goomba, as he is obsessed with The Dark Knight and simply loves the Joker character.
So...out came a Joker Goomba (to be posted with Sir Goombington).

All of a sudden, I was customizing goombas like mad. When I told my bf of this epic insanity, he came up with an idea.

100 individual goombas brought together in one epic poster!
I am making them all easily recognizable characters if I can, and am taking suggestions over on my DA journal (link to my DA in my userpage here) as to which ones I should do. I'll copy n paste the journal here as well, for those who wish to help out but dont have a DA. ^_^;

In the meantime, I coughed up these little goombas of My fox and Nathan's squabbit. ^_^
