THe inspiration for this hit me like a ton of bricks and I jsut had to start working on it. What you're about to hear or what you're currently listening to is the fruition of my labor that I put into this in the last 4-5 hours and I've still got a long way to go. But with what I've got now, enjoy! :D

Well, that's strictly a matter of opinion... FF11 is the longest running MMO ever and still has a large playerbase. FF14 got a lot of people into MMO's and is only continuing to grow, almost surpassing WoW. Being an MMO doesn't mean they're not Final Fantasies, it just means they're different, and different doesn't mean bad.
Well, I can't blame you for finding MMO's boring. They tend to be that way, what with arbitrary wait times and all. During the couple months I played FF11, I found it exceptionally annoying that certain things could only be done on certain times on certain days, or that I'd have to wait 24 hours to use an item power again. The system is there to keep people playing for long periods of time, and it works on some people, but not everyone.
Nevertheless, I still enjoy the artistic aspect of FF11. Before I even played it, I watched all of the cutscenes on lawtechguy's blog in order to learn the amazing story. By doing so, I had a greater appreciation for Shantotto's and Prishe's presence in Dissidia, because I understood who they were and what their references meant.
That, and the music is fantastic.

Keep it up Ihsman! Good to see others actually understand and have a clue into styles of music in video games. Most people are unaware that FF IX was the last project headed by and mostly orchestrated by Nobuo Uematsu. Even more people do not know that my guy Yasunori Mitsuda had Nobuo help him in Chrono Trigger.. so if you're smart enough you can pick out who did what :). As someone who has nearly every Final Fantasy soundtrack, you could not be more accurate by only using 1-9 here. No one man has had more an imprint into video game music than Nobuo... well.. Koji Kondo is up there too ;)
