Gah, I'll try to see if I can think of any suggestions to help, but at the moment, I can only think of praise!
This really does have a 'quick' feel to it. When I look at it, I feel as though a strong storm is approaching, and the wind has already begun to whip around wildly. The crow calls out, ready to take the storm head on!
I think that maybe the other one in the back could have used a bit more detail. I realize that crow is further away and not intended to be the focus, but it still looks like it could use a liiiittle bit more detailing in the face / feathers.
The crow in the foreground does seem to be lacking detail in the wings. I'm not saying that you should have to render every single feather, but some 'feather-like' highlights placed here and there on the wing can make a world of difference when trying to render birds with believable results. I would also suggest adding a bit more detail to the crow's legs, such as by suggest the presence of the 'scales'. If you do that, then you might also need to add a bit more texture to the branch, too. In fact, I would stress adding more detail to that branch, because the level of detail in that one is the same as the detail put on the limb that is meant to be further away.
I also just realized, that the highlights placed underneath the crow's upper beak makes him look like he has teeth! Hee.
Oh! I just found this. It might help for future feather-rendering: http://www.birding.in/images/Birds/.....ungle_crow.jpg
Hope I was helpful!
