five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
Maybe there aren't such things as good friends or bad friends. Maybe there are just friends. People who stand by you when you're hurt and help you feel not so lonely. Maybe they're worth being scared for, and hoping for, and living for; maybe worth dying for, too, if that's what it has to be. No good friends. No bad friends. Only people you want, need to be with; people who build their houses in your heart.
- Stephen King, It
"Every passing minute is another minute to change everything around."
I can't believe that whole title fit.
This is a bit of therapy art for myself. Two of my favorite people in the world aren't talking to each other and I think that should be changed. But I'm not the one to do that and I can only hope that they can move past what happened and repair what was once an awesome friendship. Because things shouldn't fall apart and be pushed away over one night of misunderstandings.
I was at work this morning when Season of Love came on my MP3 player and I was hit with this overwhelming sadness because of the aforementioned situation.
The sketch and ink took about an hour and a half. Colors took a few hours, on and off over the last two days. I may get around to shading it, but not right now.
I mulled over the background. The wood paneling represents the awesome trailer we all lived in in Streetsboro for two years. And the posters are ones (or similar to ones) we had there.
FFFF.
things I forgot to mention:
The wood paneling background is from DA. When I re-find the person who made it, I'll link it. Posters are from Google search. The Joker shirt Advi's wearing is from Amazon, found via Google, again. Keeper's heavily edited Venom shirt is from a Google search, as well. Likely cover art of some sort.

Something that I have always loved in your linework is the way you do the stitching in clothing. Not everyone does that, and even then not everyone who does include it does it in a way that is aesthetically pleasing (to me, anyways). I think it comes out pretty dang awesome when you do it.
Just sayin'.
