Furnal Equinox 2015 - Day 2

At the yearly furry convention, the cheerful still found herself dancing up a storm after having left the dance floor. Sporting her lovely violet Japanese schoolgirl ensemble, she sighed happily as she looked up at the bright sunny sky; she was still in a good mood and even had plenty of energy in her wanting to explore more of the con. Alas, her feet-paws were slightly worn out from having too much fun. She felt like giving herself a breather. As she stood around the con space, she wondered how this weekend could get any better.

She'd have that question answered almost instantly. For at that moment, a golden blur leaped in and landed perfectly just in front of her. As if in a grand yet subtle reveal, the ninja lion lifted himself up and smiled at one of his best furry friends ever. The fennaroo gal was overjoyed and smiled right back; she knew who it was.

ELLIE: Leo! Oh, my goodness! I'm so happy to see you again! *hugs*

LEO: *hugs back* So good to see you again! Ah, it's been far too long!

ELLIE: I know, right? How've you been?

LEO: Oh, I'm doing much better this year. And I'm so glad to be here. I'm meeting all my wonderful furry friends all over the place, and I'm making new friends along the way as well. I've even picked up a few art tips here and there. *chuckles* How've you been? How are you enjoying the con?

ELLIE: I was just dancing earlier. It was so much fun just like last year. *busts a quick move* The music really gets me going at this con. *chuckles*

LEO: Ah, and you still haven't lost your touch. Graceful as always.

ELLIE: *curtsies* Why thank you! And I still have so much I wanna check out at the con. But...

LEO: But...?

ELLIE: My feet are tired from dancing too much! Heh, heh.

LEO: Aw, that won't do. You shouldn't push yourself either. Hmm... I know!

Without missing another beat, Leo went behind Ellie and picked her up with his strong arms, catching the fenneroo by surprise.

ELLIE: *gasps* Whoa! *giggles* What was that for?

LEO: You said you needed to check out more of the festivities, right? Well just tell me where to take you next, and I'll get you there. You can trust me; I'm a ninja lion. And besides, I'd hate to see my furry friends walking on sore feet-paws. You're a fun gal, and I don't want you hurting. *smiles*

ELLIE: *blushes* Aw, Leo... I don't care how cliché this is. You're too sweet, Leo!

LEO: Where do you think I got that sweetness from? *winks* Hold on tight.

Gripping tightly, Ellie braces herself as Leo crouches down ready to jump. The ninja lion then pushes himself off the ground with his legs in one mighty leap. He continues leaping around in the big convention space. Wherever they go, these two friends will surely enjoy each other's company.
