From a shape-language standpoint. the newer one is more dynamic. I can see what you mean by liking little details though, I simplified him for this particular drawing. Just imagine the character in silhouette and the newer one would look better all over in shape I believe.

He gets more stylized with every step. :)

I love this guy! He's one of my favorites of yours, I think, ever since I saw that one animatic with him in it awhile back.
I absolutely love the overall increase of shapes for him in 2015. I do agree with the previous commenter in there are a few things about 2013 I like better (mostly the legs/pelvis. I'm not as big of a fan of the '15 shapes for those) but that silhouette <3 So I think that sorta thing just comes down to preference. But everything about that face/hair is better now!
