Here is a detail crop of what I been working on. The fur doesn't look as good as I liked but I think it is an steady improvement from my previous efforts. I feel it's missing something but can't quite put my paw on it. But at least I finally got the expressions close to what I wanted.

The next step I plan to add my claws, lots of slobber, some sort of background and the final shadows to meld everything together. The background I still have in the air (no pun intended). Not sure to go with my typical clouds or go with something more adventurous. Last time I got elaborate, things went really crazy indeed.

My goal is to get this done by the weekend. If nothing big comes up, I should be able to make it. Then I can go back and get those other drawings done.

SO, what you all think so far? And ideas to take this further?
