Sammy enjoying a pork skin chew that I got her today. Have to hold it because she can't chew it by herself with the cone on. X3
This is the face she makes when she's really enjoying something.
Look at how messed up that cone is already. She bangs it around on everything and tries to knock all the things over.... Including people... and the cat... lol
She's doing really well. Gets her stitches out Monday! At that point in time we will see how well her tail has healed. Hopefully all goes well.
I'm still a bit short on funds to pay the rest of the bill, but I would have never gotten this far without all of your help. You are all amazing people. It is much manageable now.

I know this is a bit late, but for future reference~ There are some alternatives to the classic cone! One's shaped like a donut and is inflatable, and the other is basically a neck brace.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if these would work on Sam. We've tried several alternatives, but she finds a way past them. She even finds a way past her current cone, but knows better than to try.
If it isn't at least three inches past the end of her nose, she will get past it. lol
