Heres a work currently under progress. (has been for awhile now actually >.>) Anyways uploaded this as it has been requested by 
woodland-walker who wanted to see this.

For a few reasons. 1, it is made to look more like an actual book then some notebook or binder with silicone all over it. 2, as in said from number 1 it uses silicone and not cardboard (except as for a support structure) and as you can guess this is more of a true evil book and it looks more flesh like as I used more brown and red paint to help give it a dead decaying look rather than a greenish look like some have done.
ANYWAYS I hope you guys enjoy and if it is liked enough I'll make a tutorial and make these for a reasonable price
