it's actually quite beautiful despite the harrowing bits and the director's reputation
deals a lot with life, death, rebirth themes and has an amazing visual/audio style

I think the movie itself is drugs because I don't remember the first third of the movie and had to stop for one reason or another.

That's usually a good sign to come back to it though.
