(I can't help it that he's an inflatable, so many idioms that I can choose from that goes along with this pic! Sorry if it's SO lame/stupid.)

Looks like Vulcan wanted to get-pumped* for training, since he's strong-as-a-bull*.
So he uses the weights and dumbbells that are unusually left behind.
Much later, Unfortunately, his inflated-ego* got the worst of him and he grew until he hit-the-ceiling*.
He was, at the same time, impressed (that he grew a lot) and bummed out (that he's "stuck") of what happened.
Now he has a couple of decisions to make: 'go back to normal size' or 'get bigger and go-through-the-roof*'
YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT THE OBVIOUS ANSWER IS!
And if you're wondering where his valve is, it's still there but hidden/blocked from view on his muscular shoulder.
