This is a less well known gondola song written by Mendelssohn, as unlike the other ones it wasn't published within his Songs Without Words collection! I think it's just as beautiful as the other three, though ^^

I actually learned to play this about 4 years ago, but then I discovered it's on the most recent ABRSM syllabus at Grade 7, so I decided to relearn it for when I (eventually) take that exam!

I guess you can see where some of my composition influence comes from now... :p
