This is the second chapter of my ongoing work, Conversion. In this chapter, Lawrence seeks out some old friends as he struggles with what he learned in part 1.

This whole story is something I started a while ago, not realizing it would become what it has. At some point when it's finished I'll give these earlier chapters an editing pass to better match how my style and skills have evolved over the years and maybe put out a collected edition, but here it is in its original-ish form. Any feedback for when full edits come would be appreciated.
