Sonar the Dutch Angel Dragon
Work in Progress Creature Suit
Just a little teaser/promo of my current project, since people have been asking about it lately. So I am in the furring stage and have occasionally been posting pics on Twitter and whatnot. Head should be done in a week now. A few more streams might be happening (but sewing is kinda boring, lol)
Look forward to the finished suit in April!

The diveskin/underarmor I use sadly has been discontinued :C It was by "Sea Elite" and I haven't been able to find it online anywhere since. It was most appealing because the price was like $25 when most are at least double that. The same one I had used in Shadow Lugia had the zipper break on me and tore at the bottom of the track into the fabric, but the one in Groudon has been under way more abuse and it's still holding up fine. The current one has some pilling (from friction) going on mysteriously. But since I plan to use it for a long while over and over, I might look into investing in a new/better one soon or after this one falls apart.
The part that holds the foam padding itself though is just a pair of yoga pants on a separate layer- that way I can sweat into the diveskin undersuit and take it off to wash. I used to build the padding directly onto the diveskin until recently... it's like putting on pants under your fullsuit. I like it because it helps keep the padding in place on my legs. It's just a pair I picked up at Wal-mart :p

Thank you for the advise! The original idea I had was to use yoga panta, so it os nice to hear that that method works. I was originally doing the matrices method where you use pillows stitched in, and I really want to get aeay from that seeing it rarely turns out correctly for me.
