Interesting that the Crown Prince had such thoughtful parents who seem to have had a good grasp not just of statesfurship but also the common fur... yet he himself appears to have a very firm notion of the value of a fur being directly linked to the stature of their birth family... goes to prove that sometimes the best nurture can still result in a poor result.
The more we see of the non-ursine residents of the area around Vezealy, the more it seems a tragedy for Faerie that they are almost gone... they seem to have been true furs of the Old Type... another example of the decline of Faerie that the Marshall views with justifiable sadness.
