Not being recognized as a big kid, punishments for even one small accident, constantly called a "baby" and treated like one... There's only so much even a big kid can take. After being force-diapered due to an accident for an excuse and called "baby" the thousandth time, it was the last straw for Cain. The tempered dragon who could protest and throw tantrums broke down into bitter sorrowful tears. Marcus, being a loving brother a kid in the unknowing, tried to cheer Cain up by giving him a hug. Little did he know that Cain's heart was shattered by the likes of him...

Seriously you guys, why? What's your discrimination against big kids? If they feel like growing up, let them be. Stop dragging them back into the stage they grew up from. Haven't you thought about the dignity and self-esteem of them? You might think it's a joke, but to the big kids, it hurts. It is the time they can learn to do things on their own, without much help from the adults. It's the time they pick up new abilities and skills. And by trying to keep them within the boundaries of babyhood, you're just trying to tell them they aren't learning anything. So please, have some respects for the big kids, not only Cain, but also the other big kids out there, like Zee-Zee and Lupus. They may not be a baby anymore, but they still played a big part for the little ones.

This is a powerful image... one can only feel sympathetic for Cain - and for Marcus too who only wants to comfort his upset big brother.
My character Timothy is often made fun of for wearing pullups by other kids his age... and also when his bike gets stuck in the mud because he needs training wheels. I have been thinking recently over what would happen if Friendly should find Timothy being laughed at and called a baby... what would he do? Sometimes I don't like to think about it as Friendly is a very mellow character - however everyone can snap if someone pushes the right buttons.
