Huzzah!
My first noobish pixle-art thingie. Joy~ |3
I'll also be making this an avatar... though, I think that the spots that I considered "detail" on the wall will need to be removed for cleanliness' sake... mh :x

First off, we must once again comment on the shirt-and-tie look. Lack of pants make all critters look so cute.
Second off, the window/clock/...something to the left of you looks like a moon, and I want one. I would love to hang the moon on my bedroom wall!
Finally, I must say that this picture has a real Videlectrix look to it.

I must say, dear, despite this being your fire Pixel art so far, I would like to congratulate you on doing a great job! ^ 3^<3
All I have to say is clean up the outlines a bit (They look a tad bit messy :x), but other then that, I think this surpasses my own pixel art :3;...
Keep at it with the Pixel Art!
...Oh, and, the tech clothing is still super adorable, that it has to be mentioned here again, too |3<3

hehe, dats really cute =3
but you cheated on the shading! X3
i see dat fully anti-aliased shadign in your avvi! >=3
the whiteboard and text is anti-aliased too... <w<
*tsk tsk* XD
my first avvi was a pixel art made in MS paint =3
50x50, started on a blank canvas at 800% zoom and started clicking color squares onto it X3
real pixel art, mofo! wut! XD

Anti-alias? I made everything by hand. ._.
The only fairly dramatic thing I did was add a "drop shadow" effect on Asda via photoshop.... other than that, I was screwing around over color contrast and constantly trying new color tints to get just the right shading~ ^^;;
I typically fail at shading though...mh... Made this in photoshop, zoomed in 600% with a modified grid of 10 pixles with 4 (which I probably should've made 2 or 5) subdivisions; took an oC sketch at 500x550, free-transformed it to 75x80, started tossing in pixles with the pencil tool. |3

anti-aliased is anything dat doesnt look like it was made using the 1995 version of Microsoft Paint X3
real pixel art is done pixel-by-pixel, where the artist uses no "tools", only the mouse pointer, filling in each pixel by hand =3
if you actually too the time to pick each color for the blending of the whiteboard to the wall, then youir extremely good X3
but i kinda doubt dat, since its the only thing in the pic to look like dat <w<;
anyways, just saying its not truely pixel art if you used any sort of effect or anti-aliasing X3
if you want to kno exactly what i mean by anti-aliasing, check the diamond demo pic here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-aliasing
its still really cute, just not 100% "pixel art" >wO

Soo... you're saying that unless I used MS paint, it's not true pixle art? pfft.
Fine then, 2 hours of placing pixle over drawing isn't real pixle art, it's pixle tracing. I purely traced a simple sketch that I made for the soul purpose of tracing over using photoshop's pencil tool (which can still be set to 1 px) and pixling out everything out that way.
The board was placed in after, while I was lazy and needed to toss up a background, and when I increased the size of it, it appears much differently than it truely is. 100% of this actual image is the version in my avatar now, since I actually did my tracing zoomed in on a 75x80 canvas and increased its size to 100x100 to fit it in there, adding background after.
No effect of over-shadow was added to this drawing, only under shadow, meaning that the desk in the background is being overlapped by the bunny's shadow and has its own---technically, the only 100% pixled things within the picture, on those terms, are Asda and the monitor and, technically, I used my tablet pen to fill in each pixle hand-by-hand of Asda and used a mouse for everything else.
... Also, sorry for over-reaction, but I'm such a secretly sensitive bunny when it comes to discreding 3 hours of work over technicality. I'm glad that you enjoy it, but please, don't declare its straying from 100% pixle art because I put it on layers at 100x100... It's.. augh... frustratingly technical and over-analytical.

i've had the same kinda things said about stuff i spent even longer on, dont take it personal >wO
and no, you dotn only have to use MS Paint, you can use any program for pixel art, as long as your filling in pixel-by-pixel, and if you do a picture dat way, its going to take you days, not hours, to even get something recognizable as an image if you make anything sizeable...
and as far as real pixel art goes, ppl who make pixel art are very discerning about the kinda things i mentioned, which is why i mentioned them. all i was doing was giving you the guidelines to what real pixel art is.
i've studied up, kno what is what, and just shared what i kno with you. no need to take offense to it.
a few years ago, i spent 3 days making a gif cartoon consisting of over 130 100x100 pixel frames, each done pixel by pixel, only to get close to no reaction to it... pixel art is alot of work, and, done right, will take you many hours or days, and you wont get a big reaction over it, unless its something reminiscent of wicked awesome old school video games or something...
its an awesome cute drawing, but going by what is and what isnt, its simply not pixel art...
if you tried dat in a true pixel art community, you'd get more than just a few negative remarks about it
pixel art has rules and the ppl and communities involved in it run by them, if you want real pixel art, you have to deal with these "technicalities"
i never said i didnt like this or dat there was anything negative about it, just dat its not pixel art, even if you did spend a while on it.
i realize your probably a pretty speedy artist, but pixel art isnt something your going to be able to do quickly, especially if its done right...
i'm not trying to be rude or anything, i was just giving an objective comment, and trying to help more than anything, by informing you of why it wasnt pixel art... ^^;
and again, there's absolutely nothing bad about it...

But Puzzy, I'm a mixed artist. The last thing I worry about is 100% pure/exclusive art styles. When making this, I just wanted to have something cute and pixle art-like on my avatar, a change from my usual sketchy and/or anime-inspired avatars... The very last thing I'd want to be informed of is what makes my creation not art under a certain category becuase of tiny technicalities. (Also, I have no reason or intention to, at any time at the moment, join a pixle art community. In fact, after hearing this comment, with all due respect, if they're that anal about it I want to stay away from one as much as possible.) e_e;;
I'm not a purist artist, and rarely have all the time I really need to do really complicated and complex things, but I'm appreciative of the arts and I thank you for your comment...

okies =3
all i wanted to do was inform you about what true pixel art is, cuz alot of ppl who say they make pixel art dont kno what it really means...
it was just for information only, not to critique you >wO
until recent, i've always been stuck with the old technology and kno alot about it, so when someone brings it up and makes an incorrect statement or simply wants to kno more, i like to explain... not to argue, just to inform...
for instance, dealing with avatar file size, someone had the idea dat adding many layers in photoshop would affect the final file size of the avatar, so they combined the layers before saving the image... but in fact, its how many colors in the pic dat affect the image size... (this was for a discussion about how many frames can be put in an animated avatar... you can have more colors and less frames, or less color and more frames)
it was just for the sake of knowledge, i did not mean to sound as if i was saying bad things about your pic itself ^^;
i'm not critiquing your style or method or pic or anything, just pointing out what "pixel art" is...
it is pixelly tho, no doubt about dat >wO
