This is a four foot by four foot painting I'm currently working on, in my preferred palette. It's a school assignment, but I'm going to be rendering it further soon enough.
Any critiques are welcome. Also, it's totally furry, because it like, represents my inner... furryness. Yeah.

k it's totally NOT furry - but screw that - it's really looking good.
I get the whole idea of using a small high impact element but I think you might consider subdueing (new word!) that element a bit. You don't want the viewer's eye to be trapped in one spot for too long, or to play ping pong with other elements.
