I've been reading a lot of X-Men comics lately, and I hear a lot of comic making acquaintances of mine talk about their 3 step process of penciling, inking, and then coloring. That isn't really my workflow, I tend to do a sketch witch is just a gesture drawing and then jump right into some sort of coloring/inking hybrid process, all digitally. I decided to try it their way while trying to evoke a classic comic booky look.

My brother got a pile of Ultimate X-Men 1-60 something. The Ultimate universe is neat. Of all the changes to the characters that appear in these issues I think Nick Fury far and away got the biggest upgrate. What a lowsy third string super hero he was... in Ultimate he is a golden god who they apparently designed to be played by Samuel Jackson. I've never been a regular purchaser and reader of comic books. It's hard to keep in the habbit. I always enjoy them when I get my hands on them though. You say you read the Ultimate Avengers? What does Ultimate Bucky look like?
