A couple of people on my art blog asked about Conner's origins and his family, so here's a small series that finally visualizes some of the stuff I've had in my head of ages!

This is UNCLE, the science lab where Conner was created. Yes, he’s basically a living science project developed by one of the head researchers there (more on her in a moment). Located away from any populated areas, UNCLE may look benevolent on the surface, but the often nefarious and twisted experimentation that goes on behind those walls runs as deep as their underground facility. The labs are now abandoned, however, after most of the building was destroyed in a Blue-powered temper tantrum. But while the researchers and scientists are scattered to the winds, they left a lot of unattended experiments behind in their haste. Conner’s made a couple attempts to explore the underground facility with mixed results, and he’s not if he wants to further disturb what may be down there.
