I was going pretty closely off of the ref for the eyes. Still haven't found my balance between realistic and cartoony yet. I thought this one turned out well though.

The most important thing is that it (the eyes, expression, along the spectrum of realism/cartoonyism) is compelling, like this scene is. Your doing extremely well man.
