I saw this wonderful, sexy beast today. This.. Is the 2012 SEMA show car Double Down. Its a tube frame 32 Ford roadster with a fuel injected 576 Ford engine. From what i was told by the guys here.. 900 crank hp and 820 awhp.. Beeeeeeast <3

Just a differential, 'quick change' diffs were usually fitted to back axles on hotrods and racers back in the 50s and 60s, so it was quicker to chang gear ratios at the strip/salt flats etc.

Not sure if that one is fully functional or just an empty casing fitted for show, but the car is 4wd so...

It is a fully functional vehicle. Quick change front and rear. 820 AWHP on pump gas

Ah cool, just wasnt sure if the front quick change was real, or just the casing fitted to whatever front diff it has, great looking car regardless, love the fat tyres all round look

Its just a diff. A huge diff but a diff. The transfer case in the car is rated for 1000 ft-lb torque >.>
