I think a better name for the english version would have been Hugh Airs. where the "gh" would sound close to the "c" in "cares."
The problem with Wo Kares, is that most english speaking people wouldn't see "wo" as in "who" but rather as it "whoa."

I've only ever heard Hugh to sound like "who" which is good, but neger heard a hard "gh" in any word.. *thinkgs* Through, trough, bough, rough... it's either silent of an 'f' sound.
But Huck Airies could work too!
