Morning soon came as drake turned around and awoke to see the sunshine on what looked like a bright and gorgeous day, as he started to stretch and take an inhale through his nostrils he caught the scent of something really ripe and stinky, he tried to catch the scent of who or what was giving off that really bad smell, he then smelled his underarms and quickly realised that he was one who was giving off that stink, "come to think of it I don't remember the last time I even took a bath" drake thought to himself as he rose up from his bed roll, he looked at luna who was still sound asleep on her bed roll, he chuckles to himself at the sight as luna has her tongue drooping out to one side, he then proceeds to the nearby river which was not to deep and was big enough for him to sit down in it without being swept away, he then disposes of his fighters clothes and soon his undergarments and is in his bare scales as the day he was born, he steps into the river, winces a little as it is a little cold to his liking, the river was flowing at a calm gentle rate like you would see a small creek.

He reaches into his pack and takes out a bar of soap he was given by the villagers from the village of air dragons, he proceeds to the river and sits down, he then splashes himself with water and starts scrubbing with the bar of soap, hoping not to use all of it in one sitting.

Luna who's still trying to sleep hears water splashing sits up in bed and rubs her eyes tiredly looks over to the river and gasps at the sight of drake washing himself and quickly shuffles behind a tree, drake hears the noise and looks around trying to locate it, upon seeing nothing he shrugs it off and resumes scrubbing. Luna slowly moves from behind the tree, but stops just enough to keep herself concealed from drake's view, she continues watching him bathe, his back towards her, she continues to watch him all the while forming a slight blush in her cheeks, " he has a really fine toned gorgeous body....and those muscles...." luna thinks to herself as she continues to watch drake bathe, he then cups his hands and scoops up water, and lowers his head and pours the water over his neck, he shakes the water off, the water glistens in the sunlight off of drake as he shakes it off. This causes luna's blush to deepen as she sees this, he soon starts standing up, luna quickly retreats to behind the tree she was behind with her back to the tree, her hand on her chest as her heart was beating at a very fast rate as was her breathing.

She continues to be concealed a little bit hoping drake didn't catch her spying on him, she soon lets out a breath and turns to look at the river where drake was, but there was no sign of him, his pack and clothes were gone, " oh well.... It was good while it lasted" she said to herself.

"Did you enjoy the show"?

Luna gave off a shriek at the voice behind her and looks to see drake chuckling at her.

"How did you....I just saw....wait a minute, you knew I was watching you " luna replied in a ticked off tone.

"I knew you were watching me when I heard scuffling back at camp" drake replied with another chuckle.

"You dick" luna said with a pouty face.

Drake sees her expression and tries to stifle a laugh.

"Whats so funny?!!!!" Luna asked.

"You look cute when your pouty like that" drake replied with a hint of laughter in his voice.

Luna a bit embarrassed at his words looks away while blushing, "Kn.....Knock it off firespitter."

Drake laughing a little holds out his hand to luna with a smile "come on, let's get going to that port city and find us a map."

Luna looks up at drake and sees him smiling, she gasps a little at his expression and her blush deepens.

" Wow I never notice how good looking drake is." luna thought to herself.

Luna quickly shakes herself out of her trance and grabs drake's hand as drake's pulls her up.

They pack up and make their way to the port city of Drawl.

They make their way to the front gate where there are two guards clad in armor with naginata's, as drake and luna approach the front gate one of the guards says, "state your business traveler."

Drake who is wearing his hooded cloak to conceal his face says" just passing through looking for a map."

"Likely story" said the other guard who notices luna , "and who is this air dragon traveling with you, is she a thief?"

Luna angered by the insult balls up her hand into a fist, but drake stops her and responds to the other guard "Don't you dare disrespect my friend like that."

"Oh yeah, what are you going to do about it?" the guard responded.

Drake responds by moving quickly, grabs both naginata's before the guards realize what's going on, next thing you know drake has both blades pointed at their throats, the guards are shocked and trembling at this think "how did he move that fast, we didn't even see or feel him take our weapons?"

"Now, can we pass through or do you want your heads lopped off?" drake responds.

"You can pass through, just don't kill us please!" the one guard who insulted luna responded.

Drake nods and hands them both their weapons as the guards open the gate, drake and luna proceed through and gasp at the bustling city filled with air dragons, earth dragons, water dragons, fire dragons and a few ice dragons

"Wow, this is a really diverse city hey luna." drake says as he looks at luna but notices she has a frustrated expression on her face.

"What's the matter?" drake asked.

"It's what that guard said, calling me a thief, air dragons have gotten a bad reputation as thieves, I have never stolen anything ever, I have been trying to develop my skills as a warrior not a thief." luna replied while shedding a few tears.

Drake thought of her situation, he then takes luna's hand.

Luna sees this and looks up at drake.

"Luna, you can't let what others say about your race define who you are, when I look at you I don't see a thief.....I see a friend"

Luna mesmerized by drake word's looks down and lets out a sigh, looks back up at him with a smile.

"Thanks drake, I really needed that." she said while wiping away a tear.

"No problem, now let's figure out where we can get a map" drake said.
Drake and luna proceed through the city looking around where they can get a map, as they are walking, a young water dragon of 8 years old bumps into drake, drake looks down and sees that this dragon was poor by the clothing she wore, she holds out her hands hoping to get some money for food, drake looks at her with compassion, takes off his basket pack, reaches in and gives her some apples, she is scared at first, until drake says "Go on, take them little one", seeing as drake means no harm she takes the apples, as she holds them drake rubs her head, she giggles at this and runs off.

Drake smiles and turns his head to see luna with a soft smile to which drake responds, "What?"

"That was really nice of you drake, you really have a compassionate heart" luna responds.

"Thanks for the compliment..... Luna" drake said with a blush while rubbing the back of his neck.

Luna lets off a giggle of her own as she and drake continue on looking where they can purchase a map.

Drake and Luna continue asking around but have no luck, they decide to meet in an alleyway to think about their next move.
Drake leaning against a building with his arms crossed says " man I never knew how hard it is to find a map in this city."

"Hmm" luna said while in deep thought.

"Luna what's up?" drake asked

"We were looking in the marketplace where there were nothing but food stalls and weapon shops" luna responded while still in deep thought.

"Yeah so?" drake asked.

"So this a port city so maybe there is a map at the place where the boats dock." luna suggested.

"Where the boats dock huh" drake replied. "dock.....boats.....!!!!!!"

" Oh man how can I be so stupid, there's probably maps at the port or harbour" drake exclaimed.

"Well what are we waiting for, let's go" replied luna.

They proceed to the harbor where they see a bunch of ships of all different sizes have come to port.

They both go to what seemed like the harbor house where captains would go to fill out paper work for their cargo or where dragons would go to catch a ride to another nation.

They approached a desk, where an old water dragon with a rough beard, wearing sailor clothing, was leaning back in a chair taking a snooze, they approached the desk and gave the little bell a rang, almost immediately the water dragon woke himself from his sleep, yawned a bit, rubs his eyes, looks up at two and asks in his sailor voice " now what do I owe the pleasure of you two coming here?"

"Hey there, we are looking for a map of dragonia, do you know where we can buy one?" asked luna.

"Sorry miss only dragons who own a ship can own a map of dragonia since they need them the most" the harbour master replied.

"Not again" luna said while rubbing her forehead with her thumb and index finger.

" However we have maps of each elemental nation available for purchase, they are bit smaller but they can get the job done" the harbour master replied.

" Well, It's not what we were looking for, but it will have to do, what do you think......drake?" luna asked but drake wasn't standing beside her, he was staring at a board with a bunch of posters of criminals and lost children, however one old looking poster in particular caught his attention, he just stared at it with wide open eyes and a slacked jaw, on the poster was a picture of a young fire dragon with white lightning bolt birthmarks on his eyes, beneath the picture was written: MISSING Prince Drake Bloodnight, If you have any whereabouts of his location please contact the harbor master's office or the guards office so they can contact the city governor, Reward: 1,000,000 gold.

Luna walks up to him, places a hand on his shoulder, asking him what's wrong, the only response that she got was a pointed finger at the poster that drake had been staring at, she looked up at was surprised to see the poster with her friend's name on it.

"Prince Drake Bloodnight" she whispered as she read it, she looks at the picture then at drake, the picture again then drake again, drake is completely frozen in a shocked state as his eyes are fixed on the picture, luna is shocked: her friend was missing royalty from the fire dragon kingdom.

"Oh that, that's a poster of the young fire dragon prince who went missing the night his parents the king and queen were murdered, but everyone thinks he was killed that night too" the old sea captain said who was watching the two looking at the poster.

Drake starts tearing up as luna turns around to ask the sea captain " Do you know their names, the king and queen?"

"Now let me see...........hmmm.......... oh yes their names were Marik and Maria bloodnight," the old water dragon responded.
Upon hearing their names drake rushed out of the harbor master office, luna soon taking after him, she frantically looks for drake as she is worried about his state of mind she soon finds him huddled over on the ground with his hood off in a shocked and saddened state of mind, luna kneels down and places a paw on his shoulder, drake looks up at her with saddened eyes but quickly returns his gaze to the ground.

"Drake, didn't you know you were a prince?" luna asked him.

"I never knew that I was a prince....I knew my mother and father were important people, but I never knew they were king and queen of an entire nation!" drake responded.

Luna looks to ground wondering what they should do next, she returns her gaze to drake as he begins to stand up.

"What are you going to do now?" luna asked.

Drake responded " I don't know luna, I really don't know."

Luna tries to figure out what to do: do they continue his journey of becoming the dragon master, or do they go back to his country and take it back from a potentially tyrannical overlord they might not know about.

"How about we just buy the maps and head in for the night, you think it over and whatever you decide in the morning I'm be right behind you every step of the way" luna suggested.

Drake thinks about and nods in agreement with luna's suggestion.

He and luna return to the harbour master office to purchase the maps, drake asks for the maps and the harbor master gives him six maps of the six elemental nations, " will that be all you two?" the old water dragon asked.

" Yes that will be all sir" luna replied as they turn their way to the door

"By the way I never caught your names" the old sea captain said.

"I'm luna " luna replied.

"I see" the water dragon responded while scratching his beard as his gaze turned to drake, "and you are?"

Drake who still has his hood covering his head turns to the water dragon, his right
eye becomes slightly visible to the old water dragon under the hood.

" I'm drake."

The old sea captain arches an eyebrow at this as drake and luna make their exit.
They soon make their way to an inn, they ask the barkeep for a room, the barkeep said it would be about 10 gold each a night, they fiddle in their pockets and each give him ten gold, the bar keep gives them a room whish luckily has two beds on either side, they soon tuck themselves in and head off to sleep.

A couple hours into the night drake is having this dream, where he sees that gold and white dragon again.

" Why hello there drake bloodnight, It has been a while."

" Uhh....why am I here, the last time I was here I almost became a dragon pancake" drake responded

" You're here because I sensed you were under great distress in deciding your next move" the wise dragon said.

Drake is a little surprised, he then starts explaining his situation..............

A FEW MINUTES LATER

" I see, you are having trouble deciding whether to go back to your home or continue your quest to become the dragon master" the wise old dragon said while stroking his beard.

"Not only that I found out who my parents were.......( drake wipes a tear with the back of his hand) I just wish I could see them one more time to tell them how sorry I am" drake responded.

The wise old dragon closes his eyes for a moment ponder what drake said, he looks behind drake and sees to figures standing behind him says "Why don't you ask them yourself."

Drake's head shot up and he said with confusion in his voice "what are you talking about"

"Drake"

Drake just stood there, froze, at the voice that said his name, he could tell it was female, then another voice came.

"Son"

Drake slowly turned his head around, he then sees two familiar faces dressed in gold and white clothing.

He is trembling as he sees two fire dragons standing there.
He then starts tearing up at the sight of the two dragons.

"Mom............Dad!!!!!!!!!!"

" It's been a while son" Marik responded.

"My boy how you have grown" Maria responded.

Drake soon starts crying again and says "Is this for real?"

"Yes my son this is for real" Maria responded.

Drake falls on his hands and knees with tears streaming down his face replies "I'm sorry mom and dad......I so sorry."

" Why are you so sorry for drake" Marik responded.

"I'm sorry for not being there for our home, our nation, for you two,
I'm......I'm......." said drake as he begins to trail off.

Soon he feels a pair of hands on his shoulders, he looks up and sees both his parents with a hand on his shoulders, his father says with a comforting look " You have nothing to be sorry about my son, we should have told you about your destiny sooner"

Drake looks to his father and then to his mother who says " Your father is right drake, if anyone is to be sorry it should be us."

Drake now get up on one knee and looks to his parents "Thanks mom and dad, I forgive you."

They both give him reassuring smiles.

Drake then gets serious.

"But right now I need your advice on a personal matter"
His parents look at each other then back at him, his father replies "Speak freely my son."

"I need to know what path I should take, do I go back to our country and reclaim the throne, or do I continue my training on become the dragon master.........I'm so confused right now" drake replies in a frustrated tone.

His mother and father ponder this for a moment, they look at each other and nod in agreement.

"Drake if you think you should claim your stake to the throne I don't blame you" his father responded.

Drake looks up to his dad from his position.

"However, in your current state you wouldn't stand a chance against the dragon who currently resides on the throne and his black dragon army."

Drake closes his eyes in frustration, he can't believe his father doesn't believe he can do it.

"Drake listen to him, he is right"

Now the huge gold and white dragon joins in on the conversation.

"In your current state, you can't beat him as you are now, Valeron is possessing that dragon right now, if you go back you will certainly be killed."
Drake takes this all in, ponders this for a moment, thinking on what he should do, he stands up looks his parents in the eyes "All right, I've made my decision"

His parents and the huge gold and white dragon listen on what he is about to say.

"I will......continue my quest to become the dragonmaster."
All three nod in agreement and are pleased with what drake has decided.

" I am very pleased with your decision drake, now you go out there and make your old man proud" Marik responded with an outstretched hand with a thumbs up.

"Be careful Drake, follow your heart and it will lead you on the right path" Maria responded with a wave.

They soon start to fade away, but drake calls outs "WAIT."

They stop for a moment as drake asks them "Will I....... ever see you guys again?"

They look at each other and return drake another reassuring smile " We will always be with you drake,"

They both place a hand on his head "In here."

They then place their hands on his chest "And in your heart."

Drake sheds a couple of tears, he quickly wipes them away as he sees his parents walk off and fade away.

"Until we meet again."

Drake then gives out a sigh of relief.

"I'm glad you have chosen this path drake bloodnight" the gold and white dragon said.

Drake turns to the dragon and respond with a nod.

"Now what element will you try to master next?"

Drake ponders for a moment, but soon comes to a conclusion " I really don't know.... Luna and I were trying to find a fully fledged map of dragonia but all we got is a bunch of little maps of each nation" he looks up to the wise old dragon and asks "Do you know what we should do?"

The wise one closes his eyes to meditate on the matter for a few moments.
He opens his eyes and drake asks him "see anything?"

"I see a group of slaves water dragons it looks like, being led in chains........after that it gets kind of fuzzy."

"I see" drake responded with his arms crossed, he then asks "do you know when this will happen?"

" I guess you'll just have to find out for yourself young bloodnight!" the wise dragon said with a chuckle.

Drake just rolls his eyes at this.

"But don't forget what I told you, keep an eye out for a group of slaves, this event might happen soon."

" Okay I will sir." drake responded.

"Why don't you just call me Draco, I hate formalities."

"Okay.....Draco" drake responded.

"Until we meet again Drake Bloodnight" Draco said.

Drake nods in agreement as he walks away fades and goes back to the physical
world.

He wakes up, it is still dark outside, he slowly leans up in bed and looks tiredly
around the room, his eyes soon land on luna who is still sound asleep, drake continues to stare at her as she sleeps, drake is just mesmerized at her beauty, he just smiles as he goes back to sleep.

As light is peeking through the closed curtains Luna is still sound asleep, drake starts blinking tiredly as he starts getting up, he sits up in bed and stretches his arms as he gives off a yawn, he gets out of bed and proceeds to the curtains, he opens them up as light pours into the room.

Luna groans at the light in the room, she just wanted to sleep some more.

"Time to get up sleepy head" drake said with a hint of laughter in his voice.

Luna sits up in bed and tiredly rubs her eyes, "can't we sleep in a little while longer"
she said in a complaining matter.

Drake rolls his eyes while giving off a smirk, he then proceeds to the other end of luna's bed and sits down.

" Well there's two thing wrongs with that: 1. If we stay here any longer the barkeep downstairs will charge us another night. 2. If we stay here any longer I won't learn any of the other elements if we don't continue on our journey" drake said with another smirk.

"Okay, okay lets....wait, you mean you have already decided what you want to do?" luna asked.

Drake meets his eyes with luna, " Yeah, I'm going to continue my quest to become the dragonmaster."

"That's really great news drake, what made you decide on that?" luna asked.

Drake returns his gaze to the floor, " Oh I just decided I wouldn't be strong enough to take back my throne in my current state' drake lied.

Luna tilt her head to the side with her arms crossed and a sly look n her face "In other words, you won't tell me your real reason for your decision."

Drake looks back at luna and sees her expression he quickly returns his gaze back to the floor, "Sorry it's personal."

"That's a funny way of saying mind your own business" luna responded with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

Drake just sat there twiddling his thumbs all the while sweating hoping luna wouldn't press the matter any further.

After a while of some intense staring luna decided to give up, "Okay drake I'll let you keep this one to yourself..... for now. "

Drake then wipes his brow with the back of his hand thinking (I dodged an bolt with that one).

Then he heard luna's stomach grumble, luna looks down then back up with a blush of embarrassment on her face.

Drake couldn't help but chuckle all the while his stomach started grumbling which caused him to blush with embarrassment.

"How about we get some breakfast from downstairs and head out to the market and get some supplies" drake suggested.

Luna agreed with drake as they proceeded downstairs, unknown to the both of them this would be an interesting day for the two of them.
