The San Jose Thrust decided to go through a transformation in the autumn, deciding to fill their roster with some of the most talented female players in the league, including super-tall Quintessa Hartnett (Leopard, C), the hyperactive Rachel Barsky (Alaskan Malamute), the 'female Shane Rufus' Margaret Walters (Spotted Hyena, G) and most importantly, sophomore starlet Renee Fiora (Malamute, F).

However, the team isn't all about new talent. Most notably, the teams star player Shane Rufus (Red Wolf, G) after basically retiring, u-turned for 'one more year. Also, growing with confidence and growing into his role as captain, Devon Kellendyne (Cacomistle, G) will see himself as a much better fit around a more female friendly and less boisterous dressing room.

The team also added three exciting rookies, British Invasion deer Benjamin Durby (Fallow Deer C/F), almond loving and Shane idoliser Shannon Hickman (Kangaroo Rat, G) and object of the owners affections, Lucian Darcy (Sabretooth Liger, C). Add this onto managing to retain the service of last years promising youngster Vladimir Zhidkov (Siberian Tiger G/F) and this season seemed to have a lot of promise.

However six months on, the team is struggling for form in their division, off the field matters have caused a malaise and Dimi Kabat was sacked after a bad spell. Can the Thrust save their season and scrape into the play-offs?
