Dedicated to those who helped me every time I asked about a meteorite situation for this story, who didn't pay attention much to the "fi" part of "sci-fi".
EDIT: - Reason behind this chapter: I wrote this as a sort of rant and rave thing out of frustration. "Fawn" is going to be my first sci-fi story to work on, with alien and technology we can only imagine. The setting is post-apocalyptic due to meteorites ravaging Earth, enough to keep some people alive but with limited resources, they're struggling to survive. EVERY. FRIKKIN. TIME. I asked someone how big or small a meteorite had to be destructive to flip the world upside down but keep one-fourth or less of the world's population alive, I got the same. damn. answer: "There would be no Earth", "There would be no survivors", "No one would survive", "There'd be a nuclear winter so nothing would survive", etc...apparently all the ones I asked are taking astronomy and are sticking to the realistic outcomes of a meteorite colliding with Earth even after mentioning I'm asking about this for a sci-fi. Hearing that response over and over again pissed me off enough to write this. Could satisfy those looking for some real in something that's supposed to be fantasy, then again I'm always wrong.
Sorry if I upset any readers looking for new material from me after not posting anything for about 2 years now. Getting back to work now.

I thought it showed the date by Posted. I posted this on April 1st as a joke due to *points at the long explanation in the description* I'm hoping to post the REAL story soon. This is my first sci-fi and it has a universe that keeps getting bigger and bigger and I'm having trouble keeping things in one place and making some things make sense or sound believable.
