Can you see it? Can you feel it? Those few, painful seconds where people think "OMG... 46 minutes of Zaush animation!"
And then... The crash when they realize it is April Fools. And the inevitable "You ass hole..."
Follow by "...That was AWESOME!"
That's how it happened to me, anyway. >.>

Okay, in the off chance you get WAY the fuck down here in the comments.
Zaush? What is up with the red/blue/green filter thing I keep seeing on these fake screenshots? First I saw it appear on fake screenshots, then I say it appear in everyday commissions and I'm now seeing it in movies/movie trailers! Only all new stuff.
I am not anywhere NEAR proficient with drawing/paints any of that shit, I couldn't paint my way out of a paper bag, but I NEED to know what the hell is up with that line filter thingie! And why is it easier to see on brighter/whiter places? I feel like I'm goin' nuts 'cause my SO doesn't see it nor does anyone else I've brought this phenomenon up to

It's called chromatic aberration when applied as a reverse lens distortion correction. Cheap lenses tend to stretch the spectrum around the edges of the glass, so applying the effect on purpose makes something appear somewhat photographic. In this case, it's done as a channel shift in order to simulate the look of VHS degradation, something we don't have to deal with anymore but still somehow adds to the look of authenticity.
I read this, and I understood something about Russian hacking on a project by you or some shit.
I know it's Aprils Fools, so I am safe, but I am even more safe because I didn't understand much about what you are talking about because English is not my first language. I read what you wrote on this submission, but I don't really understand the message.
