UPDATE FOR ANYONE WHO GIVES A HOOT:
(Didn't feel like making a journal about my lifestuff for people to read because it doesn't feel that important? At least this way the news comes with a babe :D )

Everything has been a bit of a blur for, well, a long time but ESPECIALLY recently. Not sure if that means my memory is getting worse, or I'm actually as busy as I feel.
Like I seriously don't know how St. Patrick's Day wasn't yesterday? It's really been two weeks jeez louise.

So anyway here have a simultaneous narration of my shenanigans and a gameplan for commissions- in bulleted format yeyee:

1. On St. Patrick's Day I found a four leaf clover. First time that's ever happened, and on the way to put it in my car where it would be safe from the wildling cousins, a ladybug sailed up and landed on it.

2. I found wisteria heaven.

3. My best friend invited me to go see one of my favorite comedians with her in Atlanta this last weekend (Demetri Martin) It was amazing, he was hilarious (I laughed so hard I actually stopped making sound at some points) and a waitress was about to take me and her backstage to get his autograph on a drawing I did of him but I told her I didn't want to bother him and just wanted him to have it- so she took the picture back to him.

4. We also went to that Lush store which is incredible. I got bath bomb gifts for everyone and a few for me. (Spacegirl, Rose Queen, Dragon Egg, Twilight, Sex Bomb, & Big Blue)

5. I am all caught up on traditional art comms (aka badges oops)

6. I spend the first two days I was home cleaning literally everything. Not sure what possessed me (presumably Mr. Clean) but I went bananas, bleaching and scrubbing every inch of the bathroom- organizing under the sink and the shower caddy, cleaning the entire bedroom, and finally today we cleaned all the babies cages and I made sure to finally buy them some more food for a little variety from the standard base food.

7. Invested in some new ink pens before the convention- the old ones are starting to dry up and I'm not going to offer copic commissions if the lineart is going to look like scribblecrap.

8. I decided that I'm NOT bringing my five copic sets to Atlanta for FWA. They're extremely difficult to drag around and set up (and by set up I mean find a place for them where they are accessible but also not in the way and also a place for all the marker set's plastic 'lids' and 'grids'.) Then I have to drag them up and down from the hotel room- so I figure I'll cut complications and only accept copic orders as 'take-homes' that will be mailed out. Only this year I'll still do the lineart while I'm at the con, that way as soon as I get home I'll be able to dive right into coloring them.

9. Now I'm just rewatching Jurassic Park III for the nth time tonight because I can and every day is another day closer to June 12th and that makes me the happiest woman alive.
The Jurassic World struggle is real guys, it's so real.

10. Between now and April 8th, I'll be cracking down on digital commissions. I'm probably going to close commissions very soon (as in- within a day or so) to ensure that comms on the list get all of my focus and most, if not all, can be done before the con.

11. Spent tonight replying to notes, answering new comm questions, and updating all current information as well as putting this weirdo announcement of sorts together. Now that that's done- it's drawin' tiem.

This one's getting kinda old and is def going to be redrawn but I'm super into personifying 'Savannah'. Everyone talks about 'the lady of Savannah' which pretty much just means the spirit of Savannah but they describe it as a southern belle type- so I'm dead set on drawing an art nouveau of 'The Lady Savannah' surrounded by all things Savannahesque. EXTRA STUFF I FORGOT WOW GREAT JOB MEMORY: I also drew a portrait of a cop lady in Applebees and she was really really stunned by that, I've been working out on the daily and I feel so much better because of it, and had my Elantra serviced for the first time ever and those peeps at the dealership are hella nice.
