I think Fen might fit that definition a bit too. Fen can be freaking adorable at times, but the moment Vix was threatened, she did not hesitate to punch a dragon in the schnoz with some seriously heavy magic. Not that it had much of an effect considering Asshole's size (I know he's got a proper name now, I will always call him Asshole, though)... Still! Fen continues to demonstrate increasing amounts of power such as during her spare with Vix.

Heck, Fer fits this definition herself.

well shit, good point. in all honesty tho, i think you may be serious here. when i stop to think about it a little, i think the reason she never opens her eyes is because she hates her eyes for some reason and is purposely hiding that fact about herself. Im thinking that shes the daughter of a demon, ether half demon or all demon, im not sure. ofcorse, now i have this scene in my head where fenfen is overwhelmed by some dragon and vix is forced to expose her secret to save her love. i would love to think that im close but im just kinda guessing at this point.

Oh, demons come in a great many forms, most of which appear nothing like what is found in nature. What's a demon in a human world can be just as demonic in an anthro world. Besides, I use "demon" in a more...hmm...forgot the word I was looking for, but for me "demon" in lit is often ideological rather than theological, manifestations of spiritual concepts like how they are associated with sins, and the like. Heaven nor heck need not enter into the equation. I mean, once magic is involved in a story, the barriers to the inclusion of other supernatural elements are quite thin.

One definition of "demon" I've seen was "interdimensional traveller" (i.e. not necessarily evil at all). Or, you know, something looking like a HUMAN just might be considered "demonic" by sentient animals. Or something that doesn't want to join Meeka in watching Fen give Vix a "massage"...

I always thought she was doing the Brock/Naruto thing, but being a kitsune(i guess?) there could be all sorts of unknown mystery in there! Anything from deep pits to suck a person into the shadow realm or even balloon animals!

She only has one tail though (for now ;D), but she does have magic a-plenty :p And it's shadow magic, so extra dark.

I may be thinking too deep into this but she is always smiling, pushing her cheeks up with her eyes seemingly closed, but here there is more a "now you've done it" look on her mouth, which has opened her eyes because her cheeks have gone down. Maybe I'm reading into this a bit too much but could there have been another reason why she has never left the monastery, and the the mistress thought that Fenfen could handle Vix's true self...

That is honestly a really cool idea and I wish I'd thought of that, but alas, her path is already set. ;)
