It's been quite a while since I did anything Halo related so I thought I'd make a new character and well given all we've learned about the Forerunners since my last stab at making one I thought I'd just make a new one. ^^
Personal Log- StarDust BreathsLife.
It seems so strange now since our awakening. Over a hundred millenia my Ancilla tells me. Hard to fathom even for a Forerunner. I suppose especially for myself. I have decided to begin recording my thoughts and musings as the IsoDidact had so that perhaps a record of events will be had. I understand his writings survived and have lent some knowledge of our past to the humans. I look at the humans and can't help but feel a sense of Pride. I was one of the newest Lifeworkers under the Librarian's charge. I think I was likely one of only a few Lifeworkers with the new generalized mutation. Granted I suppose I don't look too much different from the others. My armor certainly isn't the standard. I prefer walking. I prefer not having a helmet or arm coverings when their not needed. I've found this has made my interactions with the humans of this time easier. My chosen aesthetic mutations seem to go over well with them too. Greater cranial hair than most Forerunners and only five fingers.
But I've gone on a tangent here haven't I. I suppose a bit about my group. While the IsoDidact lead most the remains of the Forerunners from the galaxy. Embarking on his "Great Journey" which I can no longer say without revulsion learning what a misinterpretation of that lead to. My group wished to stay behind. To rebuild our people here and to advice humanity. We would not reclaim the Mantle. We were superior to no one truly. So we placed ourselves in stasis waiting for a time when humanity would attain the mantle on it's own and find us. It seems they found us Early and under some duress. Hearing about the UrDidact's survival and his actions before being "Contained" is certainly distressing. At the moment we're doing what we can. The Humans learn fast and many formerly Covenant species seem to be flocking to us and by extension humanity. We have proclaimed them the inheritors of the Mantle and our Legacy. Yet still some say we are not true Forerunners and that we were left behind because we were unworthy of the godhood of the others. Fools.
I've personally enjoyed my time on Erde-Tyrene. "Earth" as the humans now call it. That will take some getting used to. I've been working with the humans helping accelerate their medical technology with some of my colleges. For one making their own augmentation processes safer. I've argued that these should be made available to the entire human population but have gotten "in time" as a response from obviously more highly ranked humans. I don't like that. I get the feeling some want these augmentations for merely an elite few. Perhaps not every person needs them all but some of them should be available to all. I will try again to voice that opinion at the next meeting. Beyond that I have met many humans who I like. I wish my mate had lived to see this. Rest in EnduringStrength ProtectsAll. With that I think I shall end this log. I have rambled enough. Perhaps I should return to "Earth" and contact some of my new friends."
Well hope you guys liked the pic and the lil Log Entry thing.
