welcome to New Terra the City of Shards

This is the world for my book that I am writing

starting from the highest shard to the lowest.

High shard: this is where the high society lives as does the Royal arcane guard head quarters

Air shard: This shard is out fitted with cloud collectors to supply the city with the water it needs.

Arcane shard: This is the collage for witches and wizards, it is also responsible for maintaining the tight network of gates that provide transport to other shards

Royal Shard: This shard houses the massive engine that keeps the city aloft, while also serving as the housing for the Royal family.

Garden shard: as the name implies this shard is responsible for supplying food for the city while it is aloft

Earth Shard: This shard is often referred to as the Mining shard do to the fact that the entire shard can descend to the surface to collect resources that help keep the city aloft.

Shadow shard: The under city shard is often the birth place for criminals and elements of the Black Market.
