Been a good while since I done something like this eh? Finally managed to get a full, detailed, shaded, etc. piece done of my sona in the setting wearing his combat gear. I fine tuned some things, namely what went where. Additionally I did up the sub-automatic (MP5 crossed with a PPshw in appearance. It's ROF is high like the latter but it's a shit weapon for any kind of accuracy just meant to fill an area with bullets by the bucket load) and detailed it up a bit more. You can see the short sword in scabbard as well (it's a katzbalger, in setting called a 'balger'). Last but not least I tried going for a M18 Stahlhelm look but instead I went and chose the Zeon infantry helmet from the 1979 Gundam series. The front piece of the helmet is decorative as is the gorget - although it also does help protect the throat some). I shaped the visor piece so that it adds a somewhat vague semblance to the old peaked tall hats that Grenadier soldiers in the late 1700s and early 1800s used to wear - as Ulric's unit is a Grenadier battalion.
GONNA BE MAKING MORE POSTS ABOUT THE SETTING AND BEING MORE ACTIVE AGAIN WITH ANY UPDATES AS WELL.
Last but not least...this is actually a two part piece. There's more to the left of this picture that's still WIP.
