Recently I was thinking of how I could make non-cute animals look cute in anthro form. I figured I would try doodling an elephant.

As a result, we get "Yauvani". She's a pink elephant. Uhm... lessee if I can make up a back story as I write this...

Pink elephants are supposed to be invisible to the general public, being one of the last mythological creatures still able to frequent the normal world. The only time they can be seen is if your brain is dumbed-up with alchohol. Yauvani is the exact opposite, in that she can be seen by any normal person, and is invisible to drunks and others of inteligence equal to that of a drunk. Being somewhat of an outcast, Yauvani was taken in by a djinn family... so she's a genie now.

yeah... that sounds good... I'll go with that.

Anyhow, I decided to post a progress sheet of her. On the far left you have the initial sketch, in the middle is the inked sketch, and the right shows the cleanup. The final finished ink will be posted later.
