This is in thanks for the comfort she's given me through this rather trying time in my life. I didn't expect someone like her to materialize out of nowhere and change my life like she has. She's a friend of my pet, someone who has had equally if not harder of a life than I. Neither of us are completely stable or sane right now. We're just trying to cope. And for whatever reason, we happen to be able to reach each other and help support and lift one another without much effort. I had such high walls up... I don't really let people in anymore. But she makes me feel safe and like its ok to be... who I really am inside. I am more than grateful for the gift of her advice and presence in my life.

We each have flaws. And we are close enough that they can cause conflict. But this odd little relationship we have going started out as a learning process for both of us and remains such, though now with the addition of sweetness and comfort in the mix. Its been a benefit to my life. A positive among the constant negatives I'm having to push aside and get through right now. And I hope that we can help each other continue to grow into happier people.
